Root canal treatment usually gets a bad rap from comedians but the truth is that in most cases the treatment results in little to no discomfort at all. Treating these infections early can reduce the chance of a severe infection and the accompanying difficulty in treating them painlessly. The process involves removing the infected tissues and replacing them with a specialized material called Gutta Percha.
